Springs and many years trouble free motoring
should have brought a land cruiser then if you wanted springs
took approx 4 hrs to do.(kit cost £260-00 + vat)
Anyone tried the Allnot air springs?
yes told my insurance,**** it,went up £100,basterds,:jaw:Any of you springer boys told your insurance companies about your mods? just wondered what the reaction would be. I am sure on the phone they will say "no problem sir" until you have an incident that requires a visit from the loss adjuster.....
Arnott Airsprings
Well known brand of airspring at least on rangerovers.net bulletin board.
They do P38 and Classics and they're lifetime warranty.
I'm a supplier for France
Usually, i can do 10% discount for bulletin board members on all my stuff such as underbody protection for P38. You can search i'm alone to do that kind of the stuff for that vehicle.Ah so is there a prix d'ami?
More interestingly, can you tell us what actually makes the difference between GenIIs and IIIs or even Arnotts and say Dunlop or some generic? Is it the piston design, damping rate, progressive vs linear and so on? Also see from you sig you're on Bilsteins so I'm guessing you like a hard set-up or is it infact quite comfy too?
I don't believe so. Try some new Dunlop and tell me where's the difference in ride with Gen2's.Piston design also looks slightly different between the Gen 2 and Dunlop OEM. I thought I read somewhere that the Gen 2 gives a slightly rising spring rate whearas the Dunlop actually appears to give a falling rate. Certainly the ride and handling is better IMO on the Arnott's. I also have two P38's, one on Gen 2's and the other on old tired Dunlops.
where do you fit the override for the eas ecu mateIts easier with the use of a Ramp..and very straight forward all instructions came with it and an overide for the EAS ECU so no more beep beeps whilst driving, you just bolt some caps on the axle / body to house the springs and fit the springs as you would airbags.it took approx 4 hrs to do.(kit cost £260-00 + vat)
cess.
