hi guys, i have a 1998 range rover p38 dse. within seconds of driving off i have a warning on the dash of the gearbox over heating. any ideas of what this could be? i was thinking maybe sensor? would anyone be able to tell me where to find the sensor? oil levels are fine, water levels are fine, a little over a month ago the whole oil was dropped, flushed through with more oil then dropped again and refilled with new. filter and o-ring was also changed. help is very appreciated guys

thanks tc. but rave? is that a website?

RAVE is the LR workshop manual, do a search and you will find recent links to the site. When you did the gearbox oil did you re-fill correctly with the box cold and the engine idling, moving the gear lever through all positions? If not there will not be enough oil in the box.
