Have you checked the leak off pipe at the back of the diesel pump and the blanking cap on number 6 injector..Also how long do the glow plugs get power before the power goes off ....

Checked glow plugs direct off the battery - they were new 6 months ago and a good make - yet 4 out of 6 not working!!

I usually drop the washers in water to cool. Dont forget to Copperslip the threads and torque to 65 Nm (48 lb ft)As Dopey says you can take out the injectors remove the copper washers heat up to cherry red and let cool and refit, what you don't want is a build up of carbon going passed the seals making future removal a pig.
