Perhaps mine is ok then, and is running normally for one of these then. Think I'm just looking back with rose colour specs at my Trooper Bighorn, as that definately was pokier......but then I guess it should have been being a 3.1 with manual box...

It is nice to drive now, but guess we all always want a little more from our cars?
With out blowing it up, how do you adjust the turbo? Not bothered about increasing top speed, (Despite my previous comments I don't spend all my life at 90mph+ , unless I'm on my bike, haha) but a bit more low down umph would be nice for the odd overtake, when possible, given the vast amounts of traffic around at all hours of the day and night now!

Grrrrrrr.. intercooler has been changed along with Turbo pipes, new MAP and pipe, FIP appears ok after I adjusted it properly. New lift pump, filter, air filter etc, I've been a busy boy ;) .

If it is running as it should I would leave the turbo well alone!

They will shift, they are just
Not very responsive due to the weight.

Every little job I do makes it a little smoother and quicker. All the little bits add up ;)

I was towing last night, albeit with a smaller trailer and it didn't even notice it. No problem keeping up in traffic and I sure as hell wouldn't want to go any faster. So good for purpose.

Yes the coils on mine compress with more weight and it seems to want to go more.

If it can carry its own weight the extra seems to make little difference.
By responsiveness I mean you have to boot it before the hill, too late once your already on it have to drop to 4th then

Best advice is leave the turbo alone.

The programming on mine was done by a garage who fitted the larger intercooler also. No home made twiddling done! Other than the air filter I made.
