if you have remove the RF receiver blue wire , it will also cause this problem ,try to connect it back for a few days if you even remove it , MAYBE IT WILL cause this ,

from my experience, disconnecting the blue wire from the Alarm RF receiver {cure only battery drain };;;; but will give you all sort of problem 
,,,,,,door lock out , key immobilisers, etc:,, discount the Amr 6287 antenna receiver{ only the anetanna not the live wire } which is better for me ;; it does not cure the battery drain but will be less active to RF frequency, which make the BECM not to wake up so often

hi thanks for all your help Mozz i might ring you in the week, but what i wonder is how it worked OK before the battery change and not now e.g.locking/unlocking and not now but the car will start's OK i'm confussed.
