I picked up my '07 Vogue SE TDV8 on Saturday and I am having a couple of issues.

1) Had to replace battery as the old one did not hold charge (Oh well!)
2) Wipers blades to be replaced - like any other second-hand car
3) TPMS is not working. Message centre says inactive. Warning light flashes for a while and then stays on.
4) PDC not working. Tone and light flashing whenever selected. I am guessing a a sensor failure, but haven't yet had the time to listen to them all.
5) Drivers seat base has torn leather. Whilst the car is Tonga Green, I haven't yet identified the trim colour. However, replacement cushion cover (it has the heating element integrated) is £500 plus fitting.
6) How do I (can I) pair my existing iphone via Bluetooth with the car.

Otherwise, a couple of trim issues to repair and, btw, it goes like stink!

3) TPMS is not working. Message centre says inactive. Warning light flashes for a while and then stays on. - TPMS on these I think is done via a sensor in the wheel, its a special valve so when the tyre is changed the sensor should be retained or replaced. Often the batterys go flat but it will take some investigation!
4) PDC not working. Tone and light flashing whenever selected. I am guessing a a sensor failure, but haven't yet had the time to listen to them all. Almost certainly sensor failure but could be tow bar related, it will have a different tone for the front and rear of the car so if you can see if the fronts or the backs are broken first it will give you a good idea of where to start

6) How do I (can I) pair my existing iphone via Bluetooth with the car. - Without looking at hard to say but the general gist is find the option in the cars menu and set it to seek for a phone, make sure bluetooth is on on the iphone, depending on the system it might ask for you to set a code or the car might have its own code that should be in the handbook.

Otherwise, a couple of trim issues to repair and, btw, it goes like stink!

Glad its generally going well!

That's not too bad a list for RR
1) Check your alternator is charging properly, the TDV8 is known for alternators failing.
2) Bosch 808 wiper blades should fit
3) get the TPMS turned off by someone with a decent diagnostic tool or buy one yourself (I have an IID tool diagnostic device). The metal valves are a nightmare, they corrode and snap off giving you and instant flat. Once the system is switched off, you can replace the tyre valves with either better quality metal valves or standard rubber ones
5) The VSE has heated and cooled seats, the heating and cooling is done by blowing hot or cooled air through the seat cushion so the replacement cover you have priced is not the correct one. There should be lots of perforations in your seat base and back
6) Should just be able to pair your phone by unlocking the RR and then using the BT on your phone to scan and find your RR, it will ask for a pin which is in the user manual. Unless you have an updated BT module in your RR you will not see your address book.
