What year and model? If it's a P38, the O rings for the heater are on the right hand side.
Wet on the passenger side is usually rain water leaks or a blocked aircon drain.

I've literally just had this with mine! Thanks to the fine folk on this forum I tracked it down.

First off take the air con inlet filter off the left hand side (lift the bonnet, the filter is under a cover held on with 2 screws just under the windscreen). Pull the filter out. If it's wet at the bottoms, but dry at the top you probably have the same issue I had...

The water is getting in through a screw hole just above the filter cover. It's the screw holding that corner piece of trim under the windscreen. What I did was remove the screw, prise the trim up a bit (it bends a bit) then squirt a load of liquid gasket / silicone in the hole and around that area, then put the screw back in before it cures.

Fixed it for me, no more water ingress

Usual places for a water leak assuming you do not have a sun roof are the screws on the valence in front of the windscreen, the pollen filter lids and the plenum drain.
If you have a sunroof I'm not sure, but the drains do block so could be that.
The aircon drains are up either side of the transmission, little rubber domes with slits in the form of a cross, a squeeze will usually clear then and fill your sleeve with water!
