Hi, the OBD II connector in my car was a bit corroded so I got one from a breaker. It never occured to me to ask what age or spec of vehicle it was from as I imagined they would all be the same.

He sent it to me with about 3 inches of harness wires so it would be easy to splice it in. Turns out however that mine, the original in the car, has one extra yellow wire. I spliced all the rest and so far it seems to work fine but does anyone have a complete pin connection diagram or know what that extra yellow wire is for? I've accessed all systems, ABS, ECU, BECM, EAS, HEVAC. Not accessed the SRS as I don't have the right cable adapter (on Hawkeye) so that's the only one I couldn't test.

Cheers!

Can't see a yellow wire anywhere on datalink connector diagrams. Think yours is an export model though. Don't have diagrams for those.
