Northern Laning Trip... Ideas Please

No worries mate, some other time.

Some of it was boring, as I expected. First few lanes were restricted, a couple were closed off and we had to retrace steps, a normal recce really! A few great lanes made up for it though! Really enjoyed the day .. ;)

It's Craigs trip, but Dave and I are trying to help out recceing .. especially like today for 'softer' less scratchy lanes .. I go for anything, but Dave has a 'new' D3 G4 and doesn't want to scratch it, so he's great at deciding to call a lane scratchy or not .. I was only looking at whether me wing mirrors got folded in and me spots stayed on the roofbar .. but Dave's roofrack is 7'2" high!! We all normally 'do' the more Northern well known lanes. I've been trying to find new ones, and certainly one today is almost un-driven .. but is properly sign-posted, if a little hard to see on the ground 'cos theres hardly any tyre tracks! .. ;)
 
Thought I'd bring up this thread again :)

I have to pay the deposit on the site before long. So if there's anyone who can't make it on the trip please say now and I'll remove you from the list. I don't want to be paying for the whole site and only half of people turn up.

I also have the air ambulance wanting to know allll about it, and I think one of the air ambulance lot would like to get on board with it too, I've not emailed back yet, as there hasn't been much mentioned :eek:

Have you set a cut off date for donations to be paid by Laura?

Are you going to move people up from the reserved list into the main list as spaces arise?

Currently sat on the reserved list but happy to lead if leaders are required and space is available :)

Yes bump :) will sort the list out when I get to my laptop, I will need you to lead a group as a leader pulled on me :(
