So tint the same place as the 1st pic in yer siggy then?
Creative lines .. did a few of them Saturday checking out some new lanes in Derbyshire .. Juliet wasn't happy!
Found one that you might like, even .. when driving up! Going down was 'odd' but going up might be a bit hairy .. but the ice was 2" thick, so no grip at all .. when there's grip it'd be OK I guess ..
Glad to see you could ' do ' a three point turn ... i'm happy to put my life and my landy in your hands for a laning trip now!
(oh and thanks for checkin; out the list for b&b , feel happier Mr Mud and i have a bed for the night ! Ta x Al.)
another on the list for my group then
Yeah, no worries.
Sounds like you had a good time recee-ing, Paul
had to fill in for you daveGood pic Rik - pinching my line?
Anyone up for another recce next weekend?
Davidsally, CraigyB, anyone else who's a leader? Maximum 6 vehicles. I suggest we meet, have a chat about lanes we want to check out or mini-routes any of us have and decide where we can go. I've checked the map around the area of the pub we're staying at and there's quite a few I've never done, it's not normally an area we cover ..
Can I suggest we meet in Bakewell at the Bakewell Bridge Car Park SK 220 686, say 9am. There are a couple of lanes I've not tried near there that look reasonable, and I have a 'new' route going via Matlock back to the Miners, then around that area .. no clue as to how good the lanes are. I know a couple are restricted byway status now, but the others are harder to pin down to status, so we need to see them 'on the ground' to see what the signage is like ... IF we're going to use them!
If anyone (Craig?) has a complete route planned for the trip, this might be a good time to bring it along so we can each recce a few lanes when we're able to, rather than having to arrange separate meets/runs when we have time!
Despite what I just posted about Chapel Gate and treadlightly post on Facebook, it might be interesting to see if they've actually opened it yet too ....

I don't have a free weekend till after Christmas now, plenty of midweek days off though. I have a rough idea of a route just need to see what a few of them are like and the roughy time to travel the lanes before I draw it up. I will be up for going Friday if anyone else is free?
