Cb works ok(ish) just needs a whack every now andagain to get a decent range (over 200 yds) just worked out I got 20mpg due to the leaky lift, pump :-o

Thanks Sue - if we're on schedule then I'll drop in there, if it's last minute  then I'll be opposite the Royalty :)

Alas I've no CB, but I know a couple of hand signals! ;) and the horn works..

The mission is a go from here too! Nuts checked, fluids checked, loads of diesel (in the tank!), tyre pressures A-OK. Need to prepare butties, snacks and brews.

Have you packed sleeping bags, survival gear, spare engine and gearbox, satellite phone, enough food and water for a week

Only kidding, cant wait :D:D:D:D

Heh, Just need fuel ..

Not checked wheel bearings ... but have welded the rear body where water ingressed .. I _knew_ the door seals were good!

Just made some corned beef butties ... for tomorrow .. looking forward to it. Looks like TopCat isn't coming, I offered him a lift but I know he has a lot on at home and at work .. I'm going to his Sunday to help spread 10 tons of limestone/hardcore for his garage base .. ;)

Hope you guys have a fab day tomorrow..as it stands I wouldn't be able to join you even if I was available :( Have fun especially up at scar house res. if that's part of the route:D
