Alright every one . Got my first landy a few weeks ago, I swapped it for a old Kawasaki I had in the garage. It's a 66 ex army SWB its had a V8 dropped in it[sounds great] it needed a few jobs doin to it mainly a complete rewire and once the brakes are done it's MOT time followed by a paint job.

PS: are landy brakes always a pig to get workin right.

Hiya Clanman,
There's no better sound than a V8, but thirsty little buggers. Had two V8 Range rovers in the past as toys and you can't beat them. Older and wiser now and now own a Tdi Discovery. (I still wind the window down when passing a V8 though!) Have the brakes been upgraded to take the V8 power? If not an anchor might be needed! Good luck with the rewire, its easier than sorting out the wires already in place. Had the dash out of my Discovery last month to fit a new heater, What a mine field that was! Good luck with the MOT!!!!
