A blown fuse is hardly going to be intermittent is it?

You need Bosch 2 464 509 015. Link to source in my "How to". Price has gone up and currently out of stock. They are on the bay thought. Or Diesel Jones will have them.
do you have to take the pump of to do it or can it be done in situ ? the link is for a vw is that the right on that i need
just had it on diagnostic and fuel temp was 50.8 c is this normal
Hardly unless the engine was hot. You want to be looking at it just after start up from cold it should be near ambient then rise. If it's more than that then you have a problem.
it had been ticking over for a short while and temp was between quarter and half on the gauge and it rose to 69.5 after a 30 min run at 50 mph and the gauge was at it normal position at half way
