Hi, I have been slowly organizing, and labeling my spare parts for Series Land Rovers.
If some of you forum members could help me to id the stuff in the photo's if they are Series parts or :mad:not Series. I am up to around 300 different items according to my spreadsheet.
I might post a new photo every couple of days if I get really baffled.

First up a plastic bag with rubber seals and copper washers, near a 2.25L gasket set.
Landy or Not Landy :)

Wow! That's a pretty tall ask for what are pretty std looking copper and steel washers and various gaskets. I've got the full monty anorak parts list but these items are only in a very long list and not illustrated. They'll be standard engineering washers etc. Can you help by pointing to what part of the Landy they came from and why you need to catalogue?

that is part of a head kit for a 2 1/4 petrol,
the 7 flat steel washers are part 11 needed 3 for rocker cover bolts 8 for tappet guide bolts
large gasket is 1 of 2 needed for manifold
cork gasket fits heads with choke thermostat switch
o ring for thermostat and oil filler

right James Martin score 1.
Here is a carb I found in with a bunch of solex carbs. I don't think its Land Rover option, but I thought I better ask.1mc.jpg 2mc.jpg 3mc.jpg 4mc.jpg
Here is a empty canister with a hose fitting on each end.un.jpg
Lastly for now is a sump, just need to know if it is for petrol 2.25, or another Series engine.sump.jpg

I forgot one, I think this is a timing gear sprocket. 2.25L petrol?

first 2 arent standard landrover
oil pump looks right

Those carbs look like possibly Amal for either vintage British motor bike or Howard Rotovator?
With my google fu all I could find is another carb that looks the same called Carter YF.
That air tank thingy shall remain a mystery.
Here is some more stuff in boxes I dragged out and am not sure what they are.
Some kind of noise maker I think:
sound1.jpg sound2.jpg
The middle elbow does not have a place for the hose the sucks up engine block gas. All Series here? carb elbows.jpg
Some kind of body support panel? body.jpg
I want to know if there is anything special about the axle wheel hub with some kind of plug in it:hub.jpg

That's a really odd looking drive flange, it's a lube hole for a grease nipple? it's got a smaller hole for the drive shaft, very strange, early model? The others look like std 10 flange S2 type drive flanges. The elbows look very like those from the air filter connection to the top of the carb on a landy engine, but for an S3 they do not look quite right, possibly for earlier models? The long "body supports" are actually the door top sleeves for fitting a canvass tilt. They fix above the drivers and passengers door and alllow the canvass to fold away from a metal to rubber door seal. The first one is an eary style horn, the S3 type have a little flute on the moulding to channel the noise whilst that one simply has a grill.

Just found the horn searching "bosch vintage horns". Mine is parts I think. Looks like its a VW horn. Looks like it can make quite the racket (youtube).
I located the carb elbow part numbers except for the one on the bottom, that one looks almost like Jeep Willys carb elbow (again according to google images).
Thanks John, I tracked down the support part numbers to 330568, 330567.
I looked closely on Series 2-2a parts cat. and there it is- "filler plug for drive member part #276039" must be close to original then, because they are missing if you just search for the drive flange 512887.

I'll try and dig some more stuff that I am unsure of out later today.

I'm pretty sure I know broadly where this came from, but not exactly and I have no idea what its for. Any guesses?
