Hello fellow landrover owners.
I am a new defender owner and i would like to learn everything about this car! i bought this beauty from 1990 for 6000 euro. around 4000£ i guess.
i already had a thread open but had too mutch bs in it so here is a freash start. Here are some pics. all comments are welcome!

what? you think i will blow up my engine??? why?
Firstly :welcome2: to Land Rovers :D If you like offroad and you need to get out of the rough stuff sometimes in some cases you need to rev your engine hard, revving hard means over revving meaing KABOOM also it can just happen because the engine is so god damn old and worn, million and one reasons mate! But a new engine won't cost an arm and a leg, thats the good news!

not the best engine LR ever made mate ;)
dont thrash it to hard or often and dont let it get too hot , and it'll last (as long as previece owner has'nt done it for you of course)
but if a 200tdi disco comes your way grab it will fit in there with not too much hardship ;)
