i took a year back an old disco lump for £150 tbh its proberbly siezed you pay me £100 and collect it that will be a deal, im in newforest. fair millage but nice runner at the time may need unsiezing though but wont need else. had a new starter and alternator. where are you based i may be able to bring her up or down to you.

I had the same problem as you, did a full head rebuild (valves,guides etc...) and the bastid smoked exactly the same after,was them convinced that it was the timing, did me head in for weeks, ended up fileing 5mm out of the slots on the injection pump so that I could get more adjustement on the timing (to turn it further clockwise)-Un that sorted it 
Put a 86° stat in it too as they are a very cool running deezul & all smoke if not up to operateing temp!
