Am I missing the point here?
As I read it, it's not Poppy's insurers that are the problem, it's the 3rd party's.
Poppy doesn't want to claim under her policy so as to keep her NCD, so is relying on the 3rd party's insurers to play fair.
Unless she paid for legal expenses insurance, then AF have no obligation to do anything to help her as I see it.
Or am I being thick?
No the point is claims handling is non existant, therefore flux selling the insurance product are responsible in respect of suitability.
Secondly as a forum sponsor you would expect some compassion, this isn't first or even second time we see flux inaction/apathy.
Some shoddy underwriters pray on claims as a way to maximise profit, they purposely make the process difficult and £70 on phone calls is ridiculous.
