its got a 92 litre tank i think.are there any common faults causing bad mpg as it is still under warranty

Having a very heavy right foot does'nt help:D
Is it running well?Otherwise check for diesel leaks, blocked air filter, dirty knackered MAF?,timing out, injection pump, hand brake stuck on,previous owners horse box still attached to the tow bar, ect..........

Like your web site, hope business was good this year - most of my acquaintances who have gites in Vienne didn't do so well.

Cheers mate!

We did do very well this year and is mainly down to the fact that we have somthing a little bit different, like having a river run through yeh kitchen as appose to your average brit who converts every possible available pig sty,hen hut,dog kennel into rental accommodation

I drive mine any old how and it always gives at least 500 miles to the tank. If you are towing, or, lo-gearing (off roading) it will (obviously) reduce the consumption...

why the fook does this always happen?????
there has to be about 15 brazilion freds on here about mpg and still we get everybody and his brother boasting about how much they can do to a tank full. rule of thumb....if yer tank is nearly empty put more in..; if you find it is a strain on yer pocket buy a mo bastid ped.

Hi just wondering If you have had any luck with you mpg,As I have the same mpg from my td5 auto w(2000).I have put new air flow meter on blanked off the egr pipe put a k&n filter on replaced fuel filter had it on rovacom diagnostic test but it has not got any better. The mpg is the same even when we tow or solo.so I don't know where to go now but if I get it sorted I will let you know.

Thanks Scotty
