it should have a cat, but it might have been removed if its been removed try fitting one it should make a lot of difference otherwise fuel pump and injectors might need servicing.its on a P plate so does it have a cat ? never took much notice and i aint going to check as its ****in' down also i changed the oil + filter in MAY so not that long ago....
Do you mean a particulate filter because im 99.9% no im 100% sure it doesn't have one it will have a cat though.as long as it hasnt been tweaked on the pump give it a good hiding up the road, and i mean hold it on the governer 1st 2nd and 3rd gear for about 10 seconds each, sound harsh but it'll clear her out, should be able to see it getting cleaner in the mirrors. And yes it has got an exhaust filter at that age. Let her have it!
The reason for this is because the petrol makes the combustion a lot hotter so incinerates the soot be carfull though as you can burn the tips of the injectors or worse if you put to much in.I'll second that its true chuck a gallon petrol in will run much cleaner
