Dometic fridges are quite good too, and no where near as expensive as ARB and the likes.
I'm replacing the one we took with a Dometic, bit more space in it for more beer :)

How do you stop the beer from moving about going round corners? What kind of domestic fridge are you looking at?

Found a not stupid money one on here.

ARB FRIDGE 35L £480.00 - ARB - Fridge Freezers Flatdog UK

I think ARB ones are good, but don't quote me on that.

I'm keeping my freestyle alloys, mostly cause I can't afford to change them. Should I take one spare or two?

Hi, I think we all had only one spare each, Ken might have had another spare tire without the wheel if I remember correctly. I'm sure he will chirp up if I'm wrong. The guys in the 90 had I think three punctures and they were the only ones that ran with inner tubes. I had a major blow out on the motorway on the way to the port. But my tires were on there last legs. I intended to change them once I got back. They were the only punctures we had. Ken's new BF's were showing serious shredding on the tread which I didn't think much of. I had old Trac Edge. Most of the others ran on Grabber AT2's which stood up very well. I have since bought a set. Cool box does need a bit of looking into. I had a cheep electric Halfords type one. I threw mine on the fire when I got back. It was useless. Ken had a good one which I think was the only one that seem to work in that heat. I believe he paid quite a lot of money for it.

I'm going to ditch the lift kit idea, and just replace everything with quality components leaving it standard height. Picked my new truck up today, so I will start assessing it over the weekend, I am going to get some Cooper Discoverer SST jobbies on black steel modulars this week though and ditch the Boost alloys.
Had a brief look about for a fridge, and they are either £800 or £150 heating and cooler types, any suggestions where to look other than eBay?

Pic's please.

I have 3x BFG ATs and one Grabber AT2. I bought another BFG to replace the grabber last week but I think it has too much tread so will have to go on as the spare.

Ha, sounds great!

That storage looks really good. Mine will be slightly different tho, as I need my 90 the rest of the year to put the dog in, so was thinking of making some full height shelves at each side, then something removable in the load bay area.

I can see it in my head better than I can explain it...

How much water storage did people take?

I over killed on the water. I took two 35 lt plastic containers which got wrecked on the second day. My idea was that was for washing etc. And I took 60 x 2 liter bottles of Evian for drinking and cooking. I brought back about 12 bottles I think. I also took 108 bottles of beer, I surprisingly came back with a few of them. Beer is not so nice when it's not chilled.

I did pay a lot of money for the fridge Mike but it came with a 110 thrown in. James - the one you are looking at takes down the temp 20 degrees so if its 44 does that mean the cool box only goes to 24. I do have a second spare but that's only to hold my spare towrope!!. I must admit I would not want to be without a proper fridge linked to a second battery topped up by a solar panel.

Ahh, ok. Thanks for the info. That would be no use then!

I probably won't be able to afford one until early next year anyway, got to finish rebuilding my 90 before I can buy leisure bits.

Had the Cooper Discoverers fitted today and I bought two spares also, are those Dometic fridges any good then? As those are the ones I've seen on eBay before

Wow, shiny! Looks pretty badass.

I'm keeping my eye out for another freestyle, though not sure where I would put it.
