Glad I'm not going on this one... Need a new trattor. need a year to sort it!
Good luck and hope all goes well.
This came yesterday
Works fine, and is brand new. I can see how they cost so much money, it is very solid and nicely made. If a little big!

Yup. It was the thought of Portugal in summer that rushed me getting it!Nice one James. Best try it out on
Portuguese beer first.
(Apologies for high jacking your Moroccan thread)
Well, I think we have at long last sorted my vibration problem. Front Diff. Looks like someone has done some work on it before and incorrectly assembled it. Ordered some new parts. Should be all back together again on wednesday. Fingers crossed. Have also changed the Cam belt, replaced front wheel bearings for Timken ones. New ball joints throughout the steering, new adjustable ball joint on the rear A frame. Whilst I'm in a repairing mood I might get the engine valve guides replaced. Should be ready for next year's Morocco trip, other than fitting it out inside so I don't loose all my tomato soups and Bolognese sauces which were in glass jars.
That is a decent amount of work. I have timken bearings to go on, but the old ones are still ok at the moment.
I fitted these today, much much more comfy
Sissy, What are they out of? They look comfy although I don't find the Defender ones too bad. Mine need to be recovered. You will be brushing the sand out of those for months after the Morocco trip.
Did they go straight in or did you have to make adjustments.
The original seats were murdering my back.
Out of a Mazda rx8, cost me a massive £50!
I had to angle grind a lot of brackets off the new seats, but the old runners virtually bolted straight on. They only took minimal persuasion to bolt down!
I had to take the centre seat out though, I was hoping to leave it in.
Sounds like a good deal. can you still get to the battery and the other side without having to take the seats out completely?
please don't put ideas in Adams head.
we would have to get pink headdress to match the car.Any idea when you'r in the Uk Mike, would be great to arrange a get together, even better if James could come as well if my little pony would get this far[/QUOTE
Probably around July/ August time.
