Sorry to hear you can't make the 2015 trip but looking forward to seeing you on the 2016 one. It will give you more time to test out your wagon. I have found a good way to hide any nicks or marks on the paintwork.

Cover it in mud.
Its still coming out of the dash when I turn the heater on and its stuck to the waxoil as well, like 9 months later.....
Looking good in the new boots Mike, what do you think to them??
I've chatted to SWMBO, and she loves Morocco, and said we can definitely come. I've always wanted to do overland things, and it looks amazing. Gives me time to get the disco ready!
Would it be alright if I signed up?
Definitely, it will be an amazing trip
Assuming as an uninitiated member I can approve people
Well you know I'm real, and I do what I say! Not just saying it to never turn up. I was looking at all sorts of stuff last night... tents... fridges... you name it. Looked awesome.
I got over excited. Want to buy everything... so bid on a 110 on ebay.
I'm ex TA and Sam was an army cadet Instructor, so camping and being in the middle of nowhere is right up our street
That's true, you do exist. And apparently Sam makes cakes which is always a good selling point
You get my vote.
So you have bid on a 110?! TBH I was thinking how I would like a D2 for the trip!!
If you get a fridge, make sure it has a compressor, the heat exchangers are no good when its 40 deg.
Dont forget your dash cams Mike took his last time and some of the footage is really good, have a look at this one about 5 mins in and see how we almost got stuck.

I'm sure you forget I am on here sometimes.... We have run out of parking, no more cars!
I'm sure James was just thinking of your comfort. The Disco would be a lot more comfortable. Plenty of parking on the street or friends houses. where do you live?
Speaking of that we just bought a gopro with adaptors so should be able to mount it on the roof rack.

Not familiar with that one but anything mounted outside is a big temptation for the locals. Plus more chance of the lens getting dirty. you will be surprised how the dust gets everywhere, even in sealed containers.
