This is my 2005 although I have since replaced the TV module with a later hybrid version.

If there's a spare hole in A which there should be you may be able to put B in it and use the loop cable suggested above to bypass the break in the MOST loop

Not sure if this helps but my 2006 has a DVD multi changer underneath the Sat Nav unit in the marked photo above. Does yours have screens in the back of the front seat head rests that can be viewed from the rear seats? That is what the DVD changer runs in mine.

There's no screens in the headrests. My 08 car had those. This car has the CD multi-changer in the front glove box. The orange light on the dash flashes all the time but nothing works. I can't even reset the clock.

I've just ordered the MOST link plug from the post above. It seems that the satnav DVD is missing and the CD auto-changer.

While I'm messing around with that lot would it be possible to fit a DAB radio somehow? There's an additional ariel on the roof that looks like something from an Ann Summers shop! Not sure what it does though, it doesn't vibrate!

The orange flashing power light and the display stuck on the LR or RR logo is because of the open MOST fibre optic loop, if you make that a ring again it may work enough that the display works so you can set the clock and access the features that are installed and working. Please bear in mind if anything on the MOST ring has failed, like the phone unit at the top of the stack in your photo the thing will still not work until that is bypassed too. You may need a box of bypass plugs to get it going, then introduce equipment a piece at a time to ensure what is installed works. Once done you should be able to see what is missing based on what doesn't work.

They are on Amazon but I'm not sure which is the correct one.
You could try putting the fibre at the top into the plug at the bottom so it's facing the other one.

The wire shown in red above is the same bit with a connector each end, it doesn't go any where! The bottom end A goes round to the top end B. Having had a further prod around there's no other loose wires, just the multi-pin and another fibre end.

The 2 connectors here are to plug into whatever is missing. There's no apparent evidence of anything being fitted into the lower vacant space, but there was in the upper smaller space.

There looks to be fibre connection to the phone module at the top, does this have two fibre leads in it? If it does trace them to see where they go. If there looks to be a complete ring then a piece of equipment in the ring has failed. My guess would be the phone module at the top as they tend to suffer most from water damage as it is horizontal. Bypass it and see if your dashboard display starts to work. If not follow the ring bypassing each item in it.

Here's another close-up of the loose connector.

The ring you mention above, is that all in the left hand locker area?

oops good point. The green plug I think is one of the 2 aerials for the TV module.

In that case it could be the TV module that is missing. That fibre cable seems to go upwards into the roof. The dashboard screen has a selector button for audio/video so that would make sense.

A bit of groping around the abyss found another fibre lead with the brown plug on the end. Maybe it's the TV module that's missing? Maybe the satnav on this car doesn't need the CD player to go with it?The fibre cables go downwards, not up as I first thought.

Are you sure the Brown plug isn't the other Aerial plug I pictured above?
Also just read your post on the "How expensive" thread and you say you have a 2012 not a 2010 which may be different?
