its going well,i have just got get it MOTD,then its all systems go,i had a bit of trouble with the eas but i just left it for a day or two,it went up and down as it should,must of been having a sulk,ha,ha,

anything past crewe and its into the unknown

at least mine hasn't got eas.. after the poor / lack of maintenance before i bought it I can guarantee that would be fubar n all lol

Use an antifreeze testing pipette to draw the excess out the top of the expansion tank.

I'd lend you mine but I'm waiting for a customer to return it's bulb after using it to repair a customers car on the roadside.:doh::doh::doh:

To be honest I didn't eggzactly lend it out.

I used it to plug a hole in a fuel tank.

It's the only thing that I had on board that fitted.:doh:

I couldn't fit enough in my gob.

The hole was round and was about 2" in diameter. The fuel filler neck had pulled clean away from the top of the tank. The customer didn't have entitlement to recovery so it was a case of either leave em stranded or see what I could do.

It got em home.

i could come back with a retort but seeing how you are a good un i wont,its good to see someone who will go out of their way to help,well done ratty.

probably you haven't got it back yet cos they're using it as a filler cap ... no motivation to fix the motor

ratty,have you ever used that metal putty stuff,i have and found it to be good,dont know about whether it would mend something with fuel vapours etc on it???

keep meaning to get some of that for me cracked manifold...

its good kit,you can drill it and tap it,very useful in the toolbox
