Hi guys

Been thinking over the last few days about solid van sides and being as they are like rockin horse sh1t to get hold of without buying a roof aswell been thinking of having all the rear windows inc the rear side windows in my case greened out rather than blacked out and just wondered if anyone on here has there's colour matched out and have you any pic's please :)

I like the van but the blind spot is a pain. I'm going to put windows in mine. :)

The previous owner of my 110 SW took the rear windows out and riveted aluminium panels over the holes. Painted the same colour as the rest of the body. Some might say it's a bodge but it looks fine.

Paint the inside of the glass in the body colour then if you don't like it you can scrape it off:)

never seen an exact match, AFAIK its just standard shades and you pick the closest, IMO a completly different colour looks better than a non matching.
Have you thought about a silvered tint? scrotes cant see in, but you can still see out. think they also come in a coloured "silver" if that makes sense, so you could have a green tinted silver it wouldnt clash as much as an inexact solid colour.

Its a defender, but some hardtop sides and paint them?

Would save the messing around and its easy to do.

Yeah I suppose we could go for blacking out all the rear glass as it would match the black modular's and we are not entirely sure what we are doing as reguards painting the roof wether to go deep bronze green to match the car or go with a black roof with the rest of the car in deep bronze green :)
