Mapping soft ware

Considering buying M/Map as a means of navigation around the lanes and byways. What type of hardware is best i would prefer using a notepad size of unit so i can see it easilly. I assume this as come up in the past, had a look and didnt find much apart from being used on a Pda. This for me is too small. Thanks anyway Bazz.:croc:

Notebook would work fine - i chose to go with a cheap tablet pc - touch screen, created a custom mount in the landie dash and it works well.

Only advise - whatever you get its probably worth changing the hard drive for a solid state drive.

Well, I found out this week that my old phone... a O2 XDA run MM just fine with the maps on a sd card.
