in fact Ill take it out the frame first then cut.

leave the brackets that hold bottom of rad cowl though if using a cowl
What is the cowl James ? sorry not sure which bit it is.
I know I have not got one of these but will see if I can get one somewhere, or will I really need one ?plastic fan surround or housing
at slow speeds it directs the air through all parts of rad and intercooler if fan is working, if it isnt it doesnt do much
Right got it now, I have an electric fan fitted to my Rad as the Viscous thingy wouldn't turn as it was hitting the steering box so took it off. It makes sense to have one of these so will try and get one as there should be plenty room to fit it.
Last week I hade half a day planned to do this, well a Day knowing my track record. as I thought I would be cutting brackets off the chassis then trying to somehow bolt them back in place ect ect.

Took me half hour tonight done what you said and its Bang On, well I Think please tell me if Ive done something wrong.
Kept the plugs, cut them down and put in the opposite way after drilling new hole,
Now far the top, These are the brackets that I have but I think I will need the wings in place before I can see if they will fit or not.thats it

you can make anything fit but from memory not neatly, i gave up converting the old ones years back and only use the proper brackets

yes the rad frame sits a little too high for them but you do need the, the rhs one or at least the bonnet prop bracket part

yes,id fit the proper ones as in 2nd pic but youneed the bonnet prop bracket part but without the bit that would support the rad
