Loud bang/clunk....

It sounds like a stone pinging up and hitting the bodywork loudly, but it is too frequent and appears to always come from the left side of the vehicle generally when travelling in a straight line. Very peculiar. Nothing seems to be running badly. But I am worried that something is breaking somewhere!!!

Any thoughts?

Hi could be one of your drop links, recomend the LR part if it is !

Hi , droplinks are located behind the front wheels , and are attatched to the anti roll bar (ball joint )at top ,and fixed to the strut at the lower end , raise the car ,and feel for any play in the link do a search there are pics and more info

I could never get any play in my drop links with the wheels off the ground, best way to tell is with the wheel on full lock and test for movement in the drop link ball joints with a large pry bar
