just noticed the front off side seems about 10 mm lower than nearside, rear is all ok. did put +2'' springs and shocks on about 3 months ago . have looked and all springs are sitting properly any ideas Thanks

yep they were britparts but they are the heavy duty ones would they **** out so soon only done 1k miles or so and a bit of green laning

ive just fitted brit part heavy duty springs and i **** you not done about 50 mile this weekend and the rear drivers is saggin allready im not happy

" B " did yours drop on one side first or did you have different probs . what make did you replace them with .

Ah had a few probs wi' mines includin' the shocks. The shiocks were replaced last year and went tits up again so decided that enough was enough! Ah've replaced them with Boge shocks and allmakes standard springs (supposedly what Land Rover are usin'??). Mines is sittin' high on the drivers side just now but ah think this is supposed to be the case and should settle down a bit within a few weeks (so ah've bin told??).
Ah'm glad ah went to standard as the ride is much better and less harsh on the bumps and still have decent ground clearance. Ah don't use mine fur towin' and carryin' heavy loads most of the time but did use it on the odd shoot day, cartin' wood and sometimes towin' me trailer so was pretty pointless havin' the h/d really!;)

Here's a couple o' photies of the ones ah got..

Kinda hard to tell from the photies, but the driver side springs are a wee bit taller. When ah got the ****part ones they were all the same height!

do britpart offer any warranty on these . if they are all ****e should we not be backing them , and let people on here know how crap they are. I will phone MM the place that supplied them tomorrow and let you know what response i get.

The super gaz shocks and springs had a 2 year 50,000 mile warranty on them. The furst set of shocks gave up just about one year and were replaced and they gave up about the same length of time! Spoke to the shop ah got them from and they said they would get in touch with ****part... which they did... and were told that because ah've already had a replacement ah could basically bugger off!!!!
I fur one will NEVER buy anything from britpart / ****part again!

should i measure the springs just to make sure its them before i get arsy with them

the only thing i can see there guna through back in my face is a 90 has the diesel tank on right hand side thats the side mine is sagging slightly as the springs are not designed for a 90 but the disco and rrc too

where as im pretty sure i red standard defender springs are more heavy duty on the drivers side

just ring um up mate mm is a sound company tbh its not there fault more **** parts

The springs are 2 years old... ye wouldn't think so with all the yellow stuff just flakin' off! And the shocks are about a year old. Ah don't do any serious off roadin' or abuse them and just tae give ye an idea on milage... last mot cert says 96062 miles and current milage fur the year (minus one day) is 101822 which includes a trip tae Cornwall;)
