looking for a disco 300tdi

Hi all. Im looking for a discovery 300TDI . Is it true that they are more reliable than the TD5's. I have never owned one and need to know what to look for ie rot or leaking sunroofs, oil leaks etc. cheers

All land rovers are unreliable but in different ways. Tdis are simpler.

Boot floors can be a rot zone as can the rear wheel arches around the seatbelt mount, both repair panels are readily available, sunroofs can leak this will be evident by a stained or sagging roof cloth, also check the sills and body mounts for rot.
