There's being ripped and there's being attacked for using a landrover for going off-road.
The way some of you are going on you'd have the landrover outlawed from going offroad.
Greenlaning is fun but so is going off-the-beaten-track too

But its ilegal and makes us all look bad.Worse case all vehicles get banned from greenlanes etc cos of the actions of few.Hopefully theres a lesson learnt here.

Bull****e. there's more people on Landyzone getting out and about than almost any other forum I know and no-one on here wants to stop that!

Absolutely it is, and long may it continue to be so.

... but not when it's blatantly on land that isn't legal to use for off-roading.

When we (all 4x4 users) go off-road illegally then we all get a bad name and in doing so give the nay-sayers just that little bit more ammunition to use against us.

If you want to play off-road go to a Pay 'n Play site, or a friends farm or somewhere it's allowed and legal, NOT where 'everyone goes so it'll be OK' or where you can be done, or get a section 59 against you, and preferably out of the way of the tree-huggers who'll take the worst kinds of photo's to use against us. or do you think it's only Landrover users who watch or are members of the forum?

I also read hiking and walking forums, and 4x4's (and motorbikes) get a hell of a lot of bad press .. more dimwits acting like these lot just add fuel to their already considerable lobbying power. The less ammo we feed them the better for all of us.
