Mark and I decided to go and do some local lanes today, the Series was over in Derbyshire so decided to see how the D3 would perform instead, I said when I got it that I wouldn't lane it... i've had it 21 days, which I think is quite a long time to resist...
Anyway, 99% of the lanes it managed really well on, it got a bit stuck in the 4ft snow drifts at one stage, but, a quick attack with the spade and we kept going
The spare wheel is mounted below for some reason... which acts as a huge snow plough. This was fine on most lanes, but, on the last lane it was rather deep and rutted, and I ground to a halt, so, in the end we had a minor epic in reverse towing to get it out, whilst dragging half the lane back with us... the result?

A rather muddy D3!!!
A quick run back and forth through the local Ford sorted out the majority of the underside, however, my local jet wash was shut, so, the rest of the D3 is still rather muddy.
So! Time to find a new home for the spare i feel!
Other than that though, the "snow" terrain response is epic, works really really well.
Once again, a huge thanks to Mark for rescuing me... and digging in the 4ft drifts whilst I was stuck in the nice warm, comfy D3...
