Top day out fellas, thanks again to snifflebag and redwings for some good lanin.
I'll get in there before anyone has a chance to shame me...
I got stuck and had to be pulled out by a p38...
Maybe i should treat meself to a lift kit n wheels :D

No dramas tho, as redwings said the freebie still has all it's doors and the 2 v8's ran spot on :p

I'll have a look through the piccies in a bit and get em on ;)

Looks like a good, but wet day.

I see you went down "the drop" rather than up it.

I assume the bone-shaker was just mud & ruts?
Was very wet in places but that stopped everything getting too muddy :)

Redwings led the charge on the bone-shaker which was just as well - seeing him slip and slide helped the rest of us find a path (after some judicious tree pruning).

Good mix of lanes I'd driven before and some new ones - ready for next time :D

Cheers for a great day guys! I'm going to have to seriously think of the dual hedgetrimmers mounted on the bumper idea though!

I'll put my photies up tomorrow. fotobukit is too slow to worry about this evenin.

Cheers again. Great fun and great to meet you all (and it didn't break this time either!)

that int smoke, it's hydrocarbons, bazillions of em :D
It's usually steam from sucking up water

Well done kooky, not sure i'd be so brave in a posh rangie ;)
if you do some drawings i'll happily weld you up some hedgetrimmer brackets:D

No, snagglepuss went home before that one :D
Got to admit though i were grounding out in all the same places as the gggfreebie earlier in the day
Got a feeling me underpinnings have gone a bit saggy:p

they do hit a bit hard :D i've taken mine off now, it was the steering guard that fouled up today
Still at least the exhaust didn't need 3 hours welding like last time we did the boneshaker!

I meant the type with angle bars going to the chassis, rather than the mahoosive pressed steel monstrosity i have. So i can make it not quite so low.

its the bloody tow bar on mine - when that hits its like being smashed in the back with a cricket bat!:(

But then you know it's the tow bar and not something important - well that's my philosophy :D

The pics are fantastic - have some small bits of video that I'll try and post later - lovely clip of rusty demonstrating the water moving abilities of his motor at speed :)

:clap2: to the Rangies - it was quite a sight to see the freeby next to its somewhat larger siblings.
