Can't physically get to the underside of the car to dig. Thin, deep ruts.. Just had let's go again come and try and even with her massive great tyres on it, it won't budge and she nearly got stuck herself. Just went and asked at 2 farms but they are busy with the harvest
 
its still stuck.
they have had one attempt with no luck at all with one landy. it might need two - or a landy, winch and ground anchor.:eek:

they dun good - ain they;).

Well done to lets, she came all the way down, 3 point turned OVER some ruts, reversed down, tried like buggery to get us out, and NEARLY got stuck just driving back up the lane away from us! I'm amazed we got as far as we did :eek:

To be fair, how many of you have never been stuck? and wots the best way to learn things? Int from a feckin book now is it :D

So we're going to go and see if they're home!



Failing that, a mates dad is going to come up with some stakes to use as a ground anchor, and we're going to use the rear wheels as a winch, he has done a fair bit of offroading and he says it's got him out of a few tight spots when hes been left without equipment.
 
unlucky fellas, you did make some MAJOR mistakes there, wiv no recovery equip and on ur own, but like ya said, ya learn from ur fookin mistakes!!

most of us, nelly - but most of us go with other peeps and learn how to recover in a group.

if yu aint gorra hi-lift its a bit academic - but yu could lift the motor up so it aint grounded and a hilift betwen two motors?
 
we're in the villiiage of Aynho Rafa, near Banbury. Gonna go ask the guy with the kitted out depender just now, and if not we'll try the wheel winch idea. We're not exactly in the ****, james' car is just stuck down a byway, theres no safety issue involved lol.

Well yeah thats just it daft, have got to work with what we've got!
