I think any laning trips will have to be strictly limited to whatever suits the lanes
same could be said for yorkshire, there is the peaks, north yorks, west yorks, south yorks and lincolnshire, other than the peaks some of these areas are not so sensitive and a lot in N yorks are in forests anywaything is if it is in the midlands - its ideal for spreading a little further afield - North, South, East & West - easy enough to travel an hour or two in different directions so that lanes are not over used - so its not just local lanes to that area that would be being driven - also means that finding group leaders who know the lanes will be easier

not sure what happened to this place, Events off road i drive by it everyday it looks a really good site, there are several campsites within a 10 mile radius and plenty of hotels.
