landrover 90 fuel cap

Hello does anyone know if i can put i locking fuel cap on my 90
its a 1985 90 and its currently got this cap on it

and ideally would like to put a lockable one on so was hoping this would fit

so has anybody done this and will it work?

I don't think they fit as you have the wide neck, you can fit the later filler neck and locking cap or you can get the bracket that you put a padlock on, normally seen on series

Have a search it's been covered before

drill your existing cap and rivet a clasp to it...then fit bracket to landy and padlock.....easy.

You can get a locking cap for the wider filler neck, first one I found so may not be the cheapest.

Thats for a 86 on, he needs one for an 85, i believe them to differ.
