Land rover series 1 LVK365D

Hi I currently restoring a series 1 88" 1958 reg is LVK365D. Now I have found out the vehicle was registered in December 1966. I also know it had a red what I believe to be military fuel tank cap. On the rear tub below the near side rear light it has a military style trailer towing electrics. I was wondering if anybody had any more information or could help me find more about my vehicle
