Nope, just not blinded by bling and status and telling it as it is, the L322's I know are an order of magnitude worse than my P38, all the same faults including lots of corrosion/rust, water leaks etc plus a lot of expensive new electronic failures. TD6 motor is OK though apart from the cost of injectors. Interior trim is so poor it has to be seen to be believed, paint peeling of the plastic seat bases cos LR are too tight to use self coloured plastic and so on.

Fair comment , I do see a lot with rear lights fogged up :)

Air spring L322 £300.00. Air spring P38 £59.00. From this one who is mathematically adept can extrapolate, that you can change all four air springs on a P38 for less than the cost of one air spring on an L322. That is progress for you. :D:D:D

FFS - not this old Chestnut again....

The Classic - Is Pure Class
The P38 - Pulled it into a new Era
The L322 - Enhanced an Already Awesome Vehicle
The L320 - Turned an Icon into a Plaything
The L405 - Evolved the Design
The Evoque - Fecked it all up....

I love my L322 - If someone offered me my P38 back in replacement of my L322 would I take it - No...L322 is a great car, it is not a P38 in tarts clothing - it is a different vehicle altogether.....the arguement of 'parts cost more to fix' is like comparing the repair/parts prices on a Maybach and a Mini....two totally uncomparable vehicles....

Now if the Diesel L322 and the Petrol L322 had vastly different parts/repair prices then we can have a discussion about it, but comparing Apples with Oranges is pointless....

I love my Range Rovers - all the ones I have had and the one I currently have, I am a dyed in the wool Range Rover fanatic...but it pains me each time this arguement crops up.....The P38 has Problems, the L322 has Problems, the Classics have Problems, the L320 has Problems and the L405 will have problems.....it is all part of Range Rover ownership....

If you don't like theparts/repair prices of the L322 - don't buy one, but stop knocking those that want/have one....

They are a Range Rover thats all I care about.

There both in different leagues ! Lol
So a better car is going to cost more surely ! :p

Jealous :p

Not a lot to be jealous of is there really. I don't need a status symbol, my P38 does everything i need it to do. It is also a lot cheaper to repair if it goes wrong. No brainer really. :p:p:p

+2, nicely put Saint!!

I have always loved (and will always love) Landrovers, so getting an L322 has been my dream come true!! I'm not worried that it may break down...or cost me for repairs, that's why I go to work.

SO WHAT!!

You only live once...enjoy your life (and your Land Rover..whatever the model) while you've got the chance!!
