Now i thinking about atf temperature measuring. When gearbox sump reaches 35 degrees C, oil cooling hoses about 45. Where is true? I always use sump temperature.

Replaced all fluid with this, will test later.

I measure sump temperature using an infrared thermometer. I generally say 40°C on the sump, isn't far out.

Got one of them too. Very handy for testing cooling systems as well. Wasnt a lot of money, either.

Of course, only IR thermometer.
