Is this the right part ?

There was a post from 2019 someone couldnt get the wabco one at the time.sourced one of them and his friend did the same.
One apparently failed and one exploded.
Pressure or so from the pump was apparently the cause.
I didnt carry on reading more into it.

Sounds unlikely that a heavy meal sphere would explode and in the States if it did it would be a court case.
One or two posts suggesting a problem against a large number of positive reports on the site selling them does not carry a lot of weight. The Febi Bilstein part comes with a 2 year warranty

I stopt carry on reading about when I seen problems.
The original part is wabco.
They paying tribble on the wabco apparently over 300 dollar with shipping and taxes.
Hence the try of different ones and devices came along including the problems they had.

I did read so many forums and pages regarding cheaper solution part or ways to save. Sorry.

On the part number they also used in daf lorrys. And something called padcar. ( never heard of ).

just no UK VAT.

so - my Job in the next 2 hrs.

as it was standing overnight i think by de pressurising the system as per Manuel it should be easy without a big mess. lol

As long as you depressurise as per RAVE, it's a 5 minute job.
 
yup. pressing pedal 30 times wait an then again.
just not sure if this is with engine running or not running?
 
well. trying for an half an hour to open that thing. its not budging at all.
cant set a spanner without taking the pump of because of the angle.
so it stays and i send the new one back.

the cheapest garage for home diy job asking for 200 Quit to exchange around here and wanting the car fort a day sometimes next week. sod that

so it dosnt get done. simple.

i tried the oil wrench ratchets and is not coming loose at all. not a bloody milometer.
 
You need something like this

Ha ha. The big bloke accros the road heard my swearing. So he offered to help. Chaindriven oilwrench compressor torx wrench ( which I got ) and out withr it.
Bit of fluid came out. Put the new one in. Washed the brake fluid off with hot water.
So should be fine.
Pump now kicks in every 3rd or 4rh time.hitting the pedal.
Not like before everytime when hitting the pedal.

yes. finally.
now the next task is disable that abs system per switch .
so i can switch on and off as i need and want it.
