My problem during lockdown is as above. Can't get to the guys who had her and replaced battery etc, don't have a local garage, don't have a garage between where I live and guys who replaced battery who understand Range Rovers. Can't change battery , even if I could get one delivered.
Now can't find multimeter, so have ordered another one. Which is going to take over a week( or longer depending on weather) to get here.
Ah well could be worse , could be raining.

Oh ! Hang on ........... ;)

On a completely separate note , and taking us wayyyyyy off track: I sold something on local forum last night. As I live very rurally, down a track with two farm cottages. Mine is the first , and the next is another 300m down the track.
So, to ensure the buyer knows which cottage to come to, as idiots often drive past mine, for some reason, I usually add 'once you find the gold Range Rover you've found my place'.
I did this, as usual last night. The reply was ' we'll be in a white Range Rover". Is it bad , living as rurally as I do, where white does not last long and that these people are townies who retired to the area, that I am waiting for it to be an ejoke?

Ok folks, it's time. I am going out in the snow, to attach the jump pack to battery. If the key turns without issue, then answer given. Fingers crossed boys n girls.

Sooooo.......I have had a journey from the door to my big beastie. For the second time today, I have cleaned over an inch thick of snow off the door to get in. Fighting the 'breeze' , I got the door open and popped the lid. After another fight with the breeze, I got the bonnet open. Hooked up the jump pack, then , in an almost vertical position , fought, and won, against the breeze to get back inside car.
I put key in ignition and

Nada
It wouldn't turn.
So , as recent events have shown, try 4 or 5 times and it will click and turn. I try again, expecting the usual 4 or 5 attempts.
Yeeeehaaaw on the second attempt the key clicks, the dash lights up. I then start the engine. She struggles to catch. However, not for as long as she has recently.
All looking good.
Except................
The EAS is still lights out -possible hard fault.
Other electrics still being moody.
I am more and more convinced this is a CCA issue.
Thanks for being a sounding board, folks. For the moment this is a watch and wait. I just need to see if one of the farmer's lads has time to change battery over for me, if I can get one delivered. :)

So , the story continues. The battery has finally arrived. Yay! Or maybe not yay. Battery getting changed tomorrow.
In the meantime, the battery light comes on. Which means we have two new contenders : alternator, or belt.
On the up side, I have a nice, shiny, still in the box, alternator. Which I bought last time these issues happened, and battery was to blame.
I don't however have a belt :( Will my stockings do? :D
Ahhhhhh the joys of the L322
