Im after a discovery 200 tdi, and the guy who owns it has upgraded the whole interior to a 300 tdi spec. Dash, seats, door trims everyhting. Now is there anything i should be concerned about with this upgrade, any difference in heating or ventilation i should check, is dash a correct fit from one to the other etc etc.
The guy seems genuine with the car, resprayed it from gold to a 2000 model colour, all profesionally done, wheels upgraded so he's spent good money on it.
I just dont wanna buy something that looks good but is a lemon.

Hi len
cant say much about the change over but couple of things to look for start by runing your eyes over everything to make sure its all fitted good, i know some of the 300 dash'es were prone to peel near the top vents by the window screen, heater vents in the back, are they working ! vents for heaters/blowers.they come out by the back of the centre consel. you've taken it for a good run i assume over some bumpy ground just to make sure everthing stays in place and dosent squeak to much, nothing worse. failing that i dont now what to say, only, use your common sense. good luck with the purchase, let us now if it went ok.

one other thing, make sure all the switches and lights work, i bought a van once and it wasent till i used it at night that i found out all the dial lights dident work.

Thanks for the opinion, mucho gratsias.

The guy has spent well on the disco, so i reckon its a proper jobby.
Im gonna see if i can buy it later.

Hi sounds a bit like putting SE Vogue interior into a standard EFi Range Rover
no real point if you like the interior to the later model buy a later model.
