After a recommendation from another forum member I'm with brentacre after leaving flux
most of my cars are with flux sometimes they aren't the cheapest so I switch, there have been times when I had everything with swinton, even one with Tesco. swinton closed their classic department and became expensive. Lancaster are good too.
it depends who you get on the end of the phone sometimes, seems some of the individuals can phone an underwriter and get you a special price if they want your business.
usually I go on places like gocompare and compare the meerkat get the cheapest quote, phone flux and they usually (but not always) beat it. if you pay monthly look at the total for the year. sometimes the base quote can be cheaper with one but the instalment amount makes it more than another one with a higher quoted figure but lower total in instalments

Got a renewal quote from my broker yesterday for an eye watering £700! ('98 300tdi Fender CSW)
Checked out the Meerkats, signed up with Admiral for £300 fully comp paid monthly. Would've been £260 otherwise.
Will be adding the Motorbike and Bricks and Sticks as they come up, "Multicover", like on the telly..

Check ASDA car insurance - its a comparison site, ,one of the best in my view and it doesn't seem to advertise. But it will give you an enormous choice and prices. Personally I have one with Saga and one with Axa - both give 12 months European (EU) cover as standard.

Just put my p38 on classic with lancaster the base price was £212,00 then 29 legal cover plus monthly put it up to 270.00 happy with that, last year with direct line it was £630 but not limited mileage

Both our D1's are with A-Plan - limited mileage and business use on modified vehicles. Their customer service folk seem good and knowledgeable too.
I hope I never need to find out how good they are in the event of a claim.
We left NFUM after a large claim, which IMHO, has been handled in the worst way possible - still going on 11 years after the initial event!

Never been a big fan of NFU insurance myself, I never used it, despite working in agriculture and forestry for 31 years.

I'm with Sainsburys Bank, around £500 which is fairly decent with being 23 and in the 'New Drivers Category' (Even after 6 years driving, go figure)

Tried Adrian Flux, Carole Nash, Lancaster, Hagerty & Heritage with Lancaster being cheapest around £1300.
So went with Sainsbury's renewal, (didn't see any price change as changed cars half way through the year so renewl was same as I paid last year).
