As for the penis extension the Porsche attracts less attention than the other cars i liked and tried, Lamborghini Gallardo nice but not an everyday car, the Audi R8 was lovely but an 18 month wait put me off so went with the Porsche.

As for the SAAB i have the Aero model it doesnt have a cam belt, it uses a chain and a balancer shaft (Reduces vibration) so cannot suffer with a cam belt failure resulting in premature failure followed by a large bill, unlike the cheaper Vectra derivetive.

oh belive me when that pump siezes it goes big time!! besides whats proper motoring when yer cant do anything under the bonet, plus having the tubby on the saab the torque steer is ****, the power steering mainly judder under load at low speed, ask any saab garage about the downfalls of buying one. did you join the forum cause yer have the TD4?

The water pump in the SAAB is belt driven and has nothing to do with the timing chain, if it fails it simply fails also its not a known issue on the SABB 9-3ss.

As for Torque steer again this is not an issue, my car is 240 ish brake (Hirsch Upgrade) and has no issues at all with torque steer, no power steering issues and once again this is not a problem associated with the newer 9-3ss.

Some of the issues you have mentioned indicate you dont know an awfull lot about the newer model SAAB and can i also point out my car has never had an issue in 3 years of ownership.

I believe he was referring to the OIL pump. which is a known problem. "i hope yours is older than 2005 modelcoz if not you wanna be changin the oil regular as saab made a monumental **** up with the oil pick up design and using an alloy pump!"

No they didnt, not one known issue with the oil pump failing on the new 9-3ss through the dealer network in the 5 years the car has been in production.

I know this because i checked today, so again i'm afraid his opinions on the SAAB are incorrect AGAIN.

Judging by the guys claims and slating of a GM product i think he works for Vauxhall where i believe they do suffer with oil pump issues but as i have mentioned the SAAB engine is re-engineered by SAAB in Sweden and although the block is the same as other GM products the head/pistons and crank and most of the other major componants are not shared.

Lets not start on the wife issue, Redknob.

I'm sorry but what the **** are you on about? As your wife owns a gaylander it would appear to me to be only logical that she would be the one to join the forum.

Plus we'd probably get more sense out of her than we do from you. as I can't believe that she's as bolshy, thick or paranoid as you.
 
If saab dont have an issue with oil supply and so on ask them why they extended the engine warranty to 8 years!
Stinks of problem to me and if you go onto saabscene or an any other saab forum and put in " oil sludging" i think you will find LOTS on the problem.
Thats if you can get your head outta your ass!

Why would a woman who knows nothing about cars want to join a forum for the car she drives you tit. You lot make me smile you can give it but cant take it, i provide answers to questions from a guy who obviously wants to slate one of the cars i have in a polite and courteous manner and you then ask why my Mrs hasnt joined and the say what the fu#k:rolleyes: when i reply.

I fix it if it has an issue so when i had one i searched the web and found this forum so i joined got what i needed and then decided to log on as and when i 'feel' the need.

I now like the fact i'm disliked by the ar#e kissing brigade on here, it makes me feel welcome because every time i post i get a response straight away which is great.

I love you lot hating me, it makes my day. I think we should do a meet at an off road event one day where we can then see the whites of each others eyes.

No you fool one of my cars is a SAAB and suprisingly the Freelander is rather good off road ya KNOB as for the Porsche i already have it.

Who needs an invite ? I could just turn up and you lot wouldnt know what to say or do, unless your wireless keyboard worked outdoors you wouldnt have a clue what to say, i could gaurantee nobody would have the balls to confront me face to face.
