Sorry about this, it ain't tremendously funny, but then Mr B never was!
Not gonna watch it. It grated on me too much "at the time".

I've finished looking into Landy-attached awnings and decided not to follow it up. Now looking for a suitable frame tent, 4-man type. I have my eye on a certain type made by Cabanon. Had one in the 90's when we took the sprogs camping and know the superior quality of this type. Had a look on the Bay, and most surprised to see some from as far back as the 1970's and still in useable nick. (Although I will want new or nearly new).Storage is an issue, especially if you hardly ever use it.
Mate of mine paid to store his and it got nicked from there, so that would be a worry too, quite apart from the expense.
So yep, awning it is!!![]()

I quickly ruled out a roof tent. I want something I can stand up in, not fall out of. And they don't come with a stair liftroof tents
Me too, as did Nole Edmonds. Not gonna watch it. It grated on me too much "at the time".
The one we had as kids (so 50s 60s) I used to take my ex around Scotland when we first met. It stayed in my dad's garage until he died ('98) when we gave it to the local scout group who were amazingly grateful.I've finished looking into Landy-attached awnings and decided not to follow it up.
