It's all those illegal immigrants, coming over here and drinking all our water.
Probably very good at manipulation of figures than our government is at squandering.![]()
French PM looks to scrap two public holidays in bold bid to cut national debt
MPs will vote on François Bayrou's budget plan in the autumn, in a moment of high risk for the government.www.bbc.com
As no one works a full week in the month of May unless the feast days fall on a weekend, this'll be fun!!
And of course if the feast day falls on a Thursday or a Tuesday, then they also take the day off between that and the weekend, state offices included.
How the flip can they still have higher productivity than the UK?
He'll fail. The French are very protective of stuff and quick to get shirty if you meddle, there will be a hooj stink and Francois will quietly put it back on the shelf.![]()

As you have stated that water companies don't construct new reservoirs due to planning issues, if a application is refused it would be referred to a government appointed planning inspectorate for a decision, however on infrastructure applications this would be referred directly to the secretary of state and the minister for the environment bypassing the planning department, remember HS2 that went through virgin forest peoples land and homes demolished, the reason that none are build is vetoing by shareholders.Which bit don't you agree wiv?
Permitted development gave home owners greater options to build an eggstension on their home. Plastic, wood and brick. Overall size, its location and the space available are taken into account. Also distance to boundary and origional house size. It were done to allow peeps to extend more easily wiv put going fer full planning permission. It dun't allow yer to build a reservoir in yer garden. Nor are reservoirs built under PD. They're build under propper planning rules.
Or issit the bit about a reservoir changing the environment when it floods the land and suffercates every air breaving object it covers? It may surprise yer that a man made reservoir ain't natural. It hassa major impact on wildlife. Bunny wabbits can't live in their burrows. Baby crispmus tree's can't uproot and move out the way wiv out human help. Wildlife has to be coaxed to move on. Even newts. Suitability of the land and its location is taken into finking.

Wifey has floated the possibility of buying it.
That would cost us at least £267k. The place wants gutting and redoing top to bottom TBH.
I'm not sure that I am up for it.
There were 3 kids from the old gals marriage, so all assets go 3 ways (per stirpes). Wifey, bother-in-law and as her sister died some years ago her share goes to her 2 kids. So we would need to buy the other 2 branches of the family out (2/3 of 400)Why does W want it?
Why £267k thats not half? thought there was only 2 to split it.
Unless its a better place/area than yours and W would agree to somebody doing the work (Not free labour Dan) then you sell your place and move in, then maybe. But I think that needs a lot of talking about.
Oh and make sure you tell the guy giving valuation how many things are wrong with it, you need a low value (but sort of in the market value range).
J
Don't forget if you do buy it or inherited it, make sure you pee in each corner to let the neighbours know...that the old gals bunglehole has just been valued by an estate agent @ £400k.
We will get 2 or 3 more valuations and start the probate process ASAP.
