Mornin
Bit of a dull start
Prepping caravan for weekend at Smallwood steam etc show
Genni going in, need to get petrol, got two bottles of gas and two big batteries :)
Weather not looking too good but I got boots and an umbrella :D
Stay busy all :)
Need more than an umbrella. Looking at the forecast, a small dinghy might be in order.

A busy morning has been had. Yesterday I started work on installing a new leccy socket in the dining room and got the chase cut into the wall ready for the cables. This morning was a tip run (garding waste) and a collection from scroofix. And a fill up on the way back with diesel plus a jerry can full for just in case situations. More leccy work this afternoon - maybe.

I do everything my self now takes longer but is stress free and its how you want it 😯😯 got some ingenious ways of lifting heavy stuff
I have always done the majaority of the finishing work. The guy has been before when we had a very good builder(the boss of this guy sadly died of the big c) so he knows how I work.
My elbows were aching just looking at the plastering that need doing, so we decided to get this guy in. How hard is it ;).
We still have some "grunt" work to do. lets see how today goes and if he wants more work (which he will) when I face him with the deduction of the tools that appeared on my materials bill;).
Dont mess with the dumb rich brit:D.

My elbows/shoulders would lock up during the night and I would wake us both with the pain trying to move them in my sleep. so I use them sparingly now:).

But yes in general I can do anything needed but.......

...That in a strange turn of events a book appeared on the MIL's over-bed table thingy and when my wife picked it up while tidying up she found that it had 2 book-marks in it. Each book-mark was a strip of antipsychotic drugs. No one knows (or will admit to knowing) where they came from or how they got there. The ward staff say they don't know either. Very odd indeed.

Had a big red tractor with the grass cutting discs in the paddock yesterday :).
He asked who was it for, its yours he was told, he was in there as quick as the tractor would go:):).
He needs to turn it and bail it soon, probably wont get a second crop if the summer comes it will just go brown.

Had to make my wall chase a little wider - to accommodate the wider steel channel what I bought. And chopped out the bricks to fit the back box in. Hard bricks, hard work, I'm pooped. Home made curry next
The metal capping Is wider than the plastic ones but you found that out 😃
I have found with them hard bricks if you drill them first its a lot easier
