...that my wife's cousin who is staying with us...
Managed to flood our guest bathroom and have water coming through our kitchen ceiling on his last visit and today announces that he has broken the toilet seat in the guest bathroom on this visit. 🤣
Oh, and can he stay an extra day please?
Tell him he can stay if he picks up the cat poo int morning.

Well.....
Loose tile fixed with sealant , magic sealant
Joiner (I use the term loosely) said old door wasn't thick enough so off he went for a new one
Joiner back with new door, 35mm just same as the one he said wasn't thick enough
Anyway, door fitted and he went.
Inspector called to check door etc and said it wont do..... It creaks like flippin eck and theres a 6mm gap at hinge side and it's flush at lock side, also he cut too much off top of door exposing the cardboard interior
Fill the door wiv plaster.

I want some of whatever you have been smoking

...that I am a tad "miffed".
The old gal has not had her OP/Procedure today because.....
She hid grapes in her locker and ate them when she was in a period of nil-by-mouth pre op.
How/why the ward staff cannot understand that a person of diminished capacity needs "watching" to ensure compliance I do not know. Hopping mad, my wife is and so am I. Will she get done tomorrow (when surgeons want to be on the golf-course)?

He was looking at jap knot weed. Eye dun't fink yer allowed to cut or diggit up yerself. Snapping it ain't in the rules. Yer not moving it to another location in yer garden. Yer need a linence to do all that. Snapping it stops it's feeding its roots.

Edit just seen yer uvva post
Not even systemic weed kill kills knot weed so just snapping it of will just
P--- it off and it will spread even more 🌱🌱

Hope everyone had a good bank holiday weekend last weekend. This week seems to have sped by, I've spent a lot of it breaking up a concrete floor which has been hard going even with power tools. I can only describe the appearance of it as I progress as reminding me of the calving of icebergs.

Anyway, over the bank holiday I decided to have a look at the u/s generator as its not much use not working when I needed it. Didn't much like the look of the spark plug when I took it out so off came the head. It's not as bad as it looks although there is a stuck valve. Some wet must have got in unnoticed... we'll have to see...

Tis a nightmare to get rid of even with stem injection, it takes years even then it can lay dormant until the conditions are right
& it comes back. There was a house for sale 1/2 mile from us & a couple got refused a mortgage as knotweed had been noted
to be within 500 meters of the house.

No way they left that door like that 🤣 🤣 Well it is Friday..

Looks a bit like it.

It is quite old and had a couple of issues when it still worked but it would be a shame to ditch it because its dual voltage.

It was a bit like Terry McCan's taxicab in Come in T64, your time is ticking away... in that it seemed to use almost as much oil as petrol

I hired a van that did that ....

Do any of these peeps ever rub heads? In which case why do they not have two neurones to rub together between them?
