Rain has stopped (for now) much colder too. Pulled the front diff out & it looks good now to clean all the faces up
on the front hubs ect & put the front end back together. Just wondering if I should just fit new front discs whilst its stripped
I think ive only got spare rear ones in my stash.

Not really sure what else on the cards today. :):)
If it's a keeper do it, if not don't, 😕

Stopped raining a while back.
Just loaded the Pluriel onto the trailer.
Wish I could come up with a foolproof way of doing it as I only do it twice a year.
This time, with W's "help" I got it dead straight on the middle of the ramps but as I was tying it down I realised it was further over to the left than I ever normally get it, to either side.   . And I made sure the ramps were central on their fittings on the back.
Fink I need to get it on straight and central just once, then make some marks or use some tape on both trailer and vehicle. Usually do it better on me own TBH!
So just got to put the last few things in it then I can start loading the Disco.
One thing that struck me this year was, what do you do if you get a puncture on the trailer??
We have a full size spare, obvs, but they don't come with a jack or even a wheel brace. I have however had the sense to make sure I have a breaker bar and socket as well as a powerful low-entry trolley jack. And as it is a twin axle it shouldn't be too much of a problem. And TBH I always have had that jack with me in case the LR jack plays up.
Funny how the trailer came with all sorts of paperwork, safety and other poop, but NOWT about jacking points etc.

Can you Jack it with the pluriel on the back ? I would think you would have to unhitch it from the Disco ! To get the hight , you need to do a dummy run
For peace of mind , I would be thinking about it for the entire trip 😟😟😟

I'm not worried. The jack could take the weight of the car and the trailer but if it was awkward I could drive the Pluriel off. I have had a good look around it and there are serious chassis members which could be jacked on. With my other big box trailer I could have used the Disco jack as the axles are tubes.
But it is something I think trailer manufacturers ought to put in with their paperwork.
Caravans have jacks in each corner although whether they could get high enough to lift a wheel clear of the ground I don't know.
If I had to jack it at the front then yes it would make sense to unhitch.
