And another weird thing...
When I rang up to order the part, blokey asked me for my reg.
From that he told me that the caliper they had on their books for an early Disco 2 did not match the part apparently on mine according to the VIN number. Even though mine is a 2000 which is very much an early one. So we looked at the later model mentioned and it did look like mine. So this is all fun. This is what he will be sending me. "Landrover, huh?" was his comment, and mine too!

Who is the "they" who said the pressure is too high? Shame you couldn't just get a different pressure regulator and fit it yourself. When we took our range cooker to France it came with the alternate jets but we were lucky with the regulator as when buying something else at a big trade place there was one on the counter. I said to the bloke that I didn't know they did gas stuff. So we chatted about it and he told us we needed a high flow one. So, bought and fitted, never looked back.
Too late now 😔.
Don't forget to get the hob protector I told you about!!!😉😉😉

Opps sorry, we had a cooker monkey come out to see if they could repair the burners & he done a pressure test. He said there
is no way to get the pressure down to what he wanted. Err ok mate leave yer gauge plugged in & light the gas, I turned
the nob on the gas bottle to close it & told him to tell me when it got to the pressure he wanted then I stopped... then eye said
how do you like them apples 🤣 🤣 He said, ive never seen that done before but thats not how it should be done.
Probably why he never came back cause I made him look stupid in front of the misses.

Where do eye get a 110cm protector.

Mornin
Dry and brightening up
Bathroom inspection yesterday revealed that the shower tray will have to be lowered, that means either a bodge or floor up and start again, did tell em floor was high in the middle but they didn't listen
So still no washing facilities and I'm flushing toilet using a bucket for second week :(
Hope everyone having better luck
Stay calm all 😊
Yer castle sounds like its made like a tratter.

Sold another 2 pallets of slates today for 400 sovs & the chap gave me 20 sovs for loading it I refused it but he insisted I take it. :)
Tis good cause I only paid 200 quid for 8 pallets of them last year & the others I got from the roofing job I done. In total ive sold my 2nd hand ones for £2400 & I paid 1800 for the new ones for the garage. So thats a winner, plus ive still got 3 pallets left. :)

I dunno. We only have an ornery 4 burner induction hob over here. Maybe you'll need to get a couple and over lap them. Do you often use more than 4 burners at the same time? Depends on what sort of cooking you do, we don't even use 4 at the same time often.
